We work every day to make our production more responsible, our materials more sustainable, and our practices more environmentally friendly.

Since our beginnings in 2005, we have been working with the same workshop in China.
Each employee there is known individually, creating a close and trusting relationship, based on respect and transparency.
The choice of China reflects both the founders' roots and their desire to offer accessible leather bags, while relying on unique expertise. Our partner workshop is regularly audited and complies with all current social and environmental standards.
Employees benefit from safe working conditions, continuous training to develop their expertise, and work in an inclusive and respectful environment, ensuring that each bag embodies both our style, our quality, and our human commitment.
At nat & nin, we design our production to limit its environmental impact.
Our leathers come from the agri-food industry and all originate from tanneries certified Gold or Silver by the Leather Working Group (LWG), guaranteeing more responsible practices in terms of animal welfare, water, energy, and chemical management. We also incorporate vegetable-tanned leathers and alternative materials into our collections.
Since 2020, all our new models have featured a recycled cotton lining, a more sustainable alternative to traditional cotton.
Finally, our workshop is equipped with solar panels, contributing to a progressive reduction in the energy footprint associated with production.
To reduce our carbon footprint, we prioritize sea freight.
We have also developed 100% recycled and recyclable in-store bags for our boutiques and are following the same approach for our online sales packaging.
These choices reflect our commitment to extending our ecological engagement every day.
Every nat & nin bag is designed to stand the test of time with elegance. We offer care tips and repair solutions to extend the life of our products and reduce waste. We go further with a second-hand operation organized monthly in our Beaumarchais store: customers can bring back an old nat & nin bag and receive a voucher in return.
In 2025, this initiative allowed us to collect 243 items as part of the ReBag operation.
The collected bags are then either refurbished by us and offered for sale at a very affordable price, or donated to an association involved in reintegration. Through this approach, nat & nin aims to encourage a more circular, supportive, and responsible fashion. In a society of overconsumption, it is important to us to convey a strong message: prioritize durability over ephemerality.
We are committed to continuously improving our manufacturing methods, materials, and processes, to contribute to a future that is more respectful of the environment and individuals.
